Perfect easy burgers

Ingredients:

500g minced beef (grass fed/organic preferred)

2 slices bread (stale is best) (gluten free if necessary)

1 pkt French onion soup mix (low salt preferred)

1tblspn olive oil

1/3 cup milk (any kind)

Cheese cubes (optional)

Salad vegetables (onion, tomato, lettuce/spinach, carrot, beetroot, etc)

Burger Buns (wholegrain preferred) (can also use flat breads and roll up)(or gluten free rolls) (or low carb bread/rolls)  or serve between two whole flat cooked mushrooms

Method:

Place beef mince in a large mixing bowl.

Add all other ingredients except cheese.

Mix together thoroughly.

Cover and leave mixture in fridge for at least 1 hour (made in the morning and left all day is best result).

Divide mixture into 4 (large) or 6 (small) burger patties.

If using cheese cubes add 1 cube to centre and form meat mixture around the cheese (this takes less time to cook and produces a perfect burger patty every time.

Burgers can be cooked on the BBQ, in a frypan or in a sandwich/ grill press.

*When forming burger patties be sure to push mince around cheese securely with no cracks.

*Serve with buns and filling of choice (tomato, lettuce, spinach, onion (raw or cooked), relish, etc)
