Smoothie Bowl
Ingredients
1 cup frozen blueberries (or your choice of berries)
1 frozen banana
1/2 cup almond or coconut milk
1/2 cup ice
Optional extras:
1-2 tbsp protein powder, 1 tbsp nut butter, chia seeds, 1-2 tbsp cacao powder, handful of fresh baby spinach
Method
Place berries, frozen banana and choice of milk into a high powered blender and blend on low for a couple of minutes. (If the blade stops you may need to add a little more milk to loosen or carefully move to mixture once blender is turned off and return to power).
Once combined add all other ingredients and blend until smooth.
Pour into a bowl and decorate with your choice of toppings; shredded coconut, cacao nibs, freeze dried berries, chia seeds, sliced banana, acai powder, berries of choice, sliced apple, orange etc (this is only limited by your imagination).
